CATL has inaugurated the Middle East’s largest new energy aftermarket facility, the NING SERVICE Experience Center, in Riyadh, marking a major expansion of its after-sales capabilities outside China. The 7,000-square-meter center provides full-lifecycle services, including battery diagnostics, repair, maintenance, refurbishment, recycling, logistics, and training, covering passenger and commercial vehicles as well as energy storage systems.

Designed to accelerate the region’s shift to cleaner energy, the facility supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, including electrifying 30% of Riyadh’s vehicles and reducing emissions by 50%. The center also addresses challenges such as oil dependency, high electricity demand, extreme climate, and limited charging infrastructure.

Beyond service, the Riyadh hub functions as a training and knowledge-transfer platform, cultivating local technical talent in new energy solutions. CATL has globally certified over 9,700 after-sales professionals through its 10 training centers.

The facility also strengthens local partnerships, collaborating with infrastructure, energy, and fleet operators to deploy solar-plus-storage systems and expand green electricity access.

With its combination of exhibition, maintenance, refurbishment, and training zones, the NING SERVICE Experience Center sets a benchmark for new energy service delivery in the Middle East, supporting reliable, cost-effective solutions while fostering industrial synergy and long-term local value creation.
