KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysian palm oil benchmark futures fell for the fifth straight session, to RM4,750 per tonne, the lowest level since early August. Seasonal production peaks meeting with reduced export demand from key consumers India and China are driving the price fall, raising trade concerns that national storage levels will approach three million tonnes by year-end. Optimising operating costs becomes crucial for energy-intensive plantation firms and milling businesses with thin profit margins. This cost-cutting pressure creates an operational incentive to streamline scheduled waste management (SW305/SW306), where estates can reduce spent hydraulic and gear oil disposal costs by partnering with circular service providers such as Pentas Flora, which offers certified eSWIS tracking and closed-loop oil recovery.
