KUALA LUMPUR – Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd announced that its subsidiary, Tan Chong Motor Assemblies Sdn Bhd (TCMA), has executed a master agreement with Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd for Perodua’s battery electric vehicle (BEV) project in Serendah. Under the three-year contract, TCMA will provide electro-deposition (ED) coating, specialized painting line services, and assembly line space to support domestic EV manufacturing. The project is expected to contribute to Tan Chong’s revenue and earnings starting in the financial year ending 31 December 2026, advancing Malaysia’s local automotive assembly capabilities.
