KUALA LUMPUR – In order to safeguard Malaysia against global market swings, the Ministry of Economy told Parliament that expanding access to overseas gas reserves, such as PETRONAS’s production agreements in Turkmenistan is the key to national energy security. By evaluating international projects on their economic merits, Malaysia aims to broaden its green transition.
