KUALA LUMPUR – Regional agricultural reports suggest that shifting monsoon patterns resulting from recent weather anomalies are expected to reduce Malaysia’s crude palm oil (CPO) production year on year. Plantation operators are making operational modifications at mills and refineries across Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo as rainfall variability affects harvesting schedules and biomass processing volumes.
