SABAK BERNAM – The Droneport-1000 program was launched at Sabak Bernam by the Selangor Aviation Technology and Innovation (SELATI) in collaboration with Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) to provide a special test and evaluation facility for Malaysia’s developing low-altitude economy. This specialised facility, which operates under the Sabak Bernam Development Area (SABDA) framework, facilitates the safe development, testing, and commercialisation of advanced air mobility (AAM) and next-generation unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The project intends to implement drone applications in industrial infrastructure inspection, regional logistics, environmental stewardship, emergency response, and precision agriculture by bringing together government, academic, and industry stakeholders.
