
CHINA – Ningbo-Zhoushan Port is moving ahead with the second phase of its Fodu container terminal development, launching preparations for an RMB 16.94 million package of pre-construction studies. Located in the strategic Liuheng port area and formally incorporated into China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, the overall development will stretch across nearly three kilometers of shoreline to construct seven ultra-large container berths that have the capacity to handle giant 200,000-ton cargo ships.
