EITA Resources Secures RM 221 million Transmission Contract to Boost Grid Infrastructure

KUALA LUMPUR – EITA Resources Bhd has been awarded a RM221 million power transmission project from Syarikat Sesco Bhd to develop and extend substations. The award recognizes Malaysia’s continued, aggressive capital expenditure in domestic energy infrastructure, substation rollouts, and industrial power distribution networks. The 25-month project, set to begin in September 2026, indicates strong regional momentum in upgrading grid capacity to accommodate rising industrial facilities and data centres, creating steady demand for high-voltage equipment and continuous utility maintenance.
