THE 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) was held in Belém, Brazil, from Nov 10 to 21, 2025.
According to a report from The Star newspaper, despite the non-participation of the world’s biggest polluter, the United States, it was the second largest COP (as the Conference of Parties is known) since the creation of the Paris Agreement in 2015.
