Selangor is expected to see an ecotourism and edutainment theme park opening this year in Klang, reported The Star.
Magika Studios, located at the 28.32ha Mangrove Point in Port Klang, is set for completion by mid year.
“Magika Studios will be a unique attraction that showcases the beauty of mangrove forests while promoting sustainability values through entertainment and education,” said Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd (LLSB) managing director Syaiful Azmen Nordin.
He said development of the theme park – a joint venture between LLSB, the master developer of the Selangor Maritime Gateway (SMG) project and KRU Entertainment Sdn Bhd – began last October.
Magika Studios is the second phase of a collaboration with KRU Entertainment, with a joint allocation of RM5mil.
“This project is part of the ESG (environmental, social and governance) development initiatives under SMG, emphasising technology and entertainment as a medium for environmental education,” he said,
