
KUALA LUMPUR – Gas Malaysia Bhd reported a decline in Q2 2026 net profit to RM72.53 million and a revenue contraction to RM1.58 billion, owing principally to lower average natural gas selling prices. Despite earnings compression caused by international petrol price changes, the business maintained strong operational demand in local industrial sectors, resulting in increased total volume throughput that largely offset top-line revenue headwinds.
