KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) has launched an initiative to convert palm oil into water-saving cooling solutions for data centres, leveraging the palm oil’s thermal properties to replace traditional water-heavy cooling systems. It aims to offer a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative for the energy-intensive tech sector while opening new industrial demand for local palm oil products.
