SET-listed Sky ICT, a leading Thai provider of aviation technology and smart airport solutions, has been awarded the highest rating of AAA in the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s ESG Ratings 2025, underscoring its commitment to sustainable business practices, reported The Bangkok Post.
Chief executive Sithidej Mayalarp said the rating is used to assess sustainability and promote responsible investment. The SET utilises the ESG Ratings to compile its SET ESG Index.
The bourse awarded the rating to the company on Dec 12.
The environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors are assessed across three dimensions. The first is environment, covering environmental management, natural resource management and greenhouse gas reduction, the report noted.
The social aspect includes treatment of employees, communities, stakeholders and safety.
The third is governance, covering corporate governance structure, transparency and business ethics.
Inclusion in the SET ESG Ratings requires listed companies to score a minimum of 50% in each ESG dimension and meet specific criteria.
The rating is divided into four levels: AAA (score of 90-100), followed by AA (80-89), A (65-79) and BBB (50-64).
Sithidej said Sky ICT earned a score of 92 thanks to its high ESG performance, systematic environmental management, and its good treatment of all stakeholders, employees, partners, customers and communities.
